Reminder: Play these games to boost your Gamerscore

Xbox 360 "achievement whores" hoping to augment their nerd cred should rent these lollipops, says Wired Magazine.
It's not cheating, it's being resourceful!
In an article entitled How to be a Game God, Wired points to eight available games that effortlessly make your Gamerscore look more impressive than it really is.
For example, Avatar: The Last Airbender can net you 1,000 points in less than five minutes. Dumb down the CPU difficulty in the options menu while boosting your own in Madden NFL 06 for easy wins. Or simulate several seasons using either the Spurs or Lakers in NBA Live 06 to dominate points.
Other convenient games cited by Wired include Cars, Open Season, King Kong, Shrek the Third, and Surf's Up. Like taking candy from a baby.

hey I remember a few years back, MS said that gaming points would be used to by merchandise ,like Coca-Cola points. Whatever happened with that? Achivements/Trophies are pretty useless if they can't be applied to anything other than bragging rights.

nba 2k6.. and college hoops 2k6...took me less than 10 minutes to get everything for both games...

What is the point of achievements or gamerscore if if can be swayed so easily? Aren't they supposed to display your ability as a gamer? While I will agree, it's not cheating, I will belittle anyone that does this just so they look better than they really are. It really pisses me off....

Sorry but im proud of my 1000/1000 in cod4, and 1100/1100 in bioshock no need to play a few lame games to boost up my score. I rather have real achievements then waste money for a simple number that really doesnt mean much to rise.
