LOS ANGELES -- Are you one of the few who simply can't use the pedals on the Rock Band drum kit without failing miserably, thereby taking all your band mates with you?

Well, in that case rejoice, because Harmonix revealed this week at E3 that they've added a "no-fail" option to Rock Band 2.

Much like Nintendo's recently unveiled Wii Music, this means players can butcher a song from start to finish without worry of dropping out of the fun.

And there's one other significant benefit, Joystiq found: senior designer Dan Teasdale said people who are unable to use their legs can now play drums.

No Fail = Fail?

...I guess it depends if you're a purist or not... or like me who can't play that game worth a squirt of piss.

Not that I can't mind you, but If I'm going to spend hours on a guitar-like thing playing music, I'd rather it be on an actual guitar.
