Capcom preparing Dead Rising port for Wii

Capcom is hoping to capitalize on the success of its Resident Evil 4 Wii port with former Xbox 360 exclusive Dead Rising.
Can it recreate the success of fellow port Resident Evil 4?
In a move reminiscent of Resident Evil 4, Capcom is allegedly ready to port former Xbox 360 exclusive Dead Rising to the Wii.
The big reveal actually happened in the pages of weekly Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, far away from Los Angeles and the E3 conference taking place this week.
According to translations, the Wi version of Dead Rising will include new weapons, a new boss, and the prerequisite motion-based attacks. The graphics will look as close as possible to the 360 version, the magazine said, and gameplay apparently "takes into consideration the needs of casual players." Hint: a better save system.

Dead Rising is a great game for those who like the survival horror genre. I have it for the 360 so I won't buy this one but Wii owners just might have a great game coming, provided taht Capcom adds cool things using the Wii Remote and Nuchuck. The save system on the 360 version is horrible. It's a good thing that they will improve it for the Wii.

Looks like my Wii will be collecting dust until the next Mario/Zelda/Metroid title. I guess I still haven't finished Okami and Fire Emblem... but I'm NOT impressed by what Nintendo showed off at E3. I think MotionPlus should be FREE ...as it should allready be in the Wiimote. They're basically admitting that the Wiimote motion sensing isn't great (which I really though it was... much better than SixAxis anyway). Miyamoto can stick his Balance Board and his Wii Music where the sun don't shine. I'm pissed!

Hey Iceman,,,, the only thing that is weak is guys who put naked pics of 12 year old girls for their avatars, . . that's just a bit disturbing.[p] and, "they need to make another Mario game, haha"?? .....is that funny? Cause it actually sounds like a pretty good idea to me.[p] Mario, Zelda, Metroid are some of the most finely crafted games in the industry, . . . but you think that's funny......Maybe it's just too early in the morning for me to find anything funny. I think I'll look at your post again later and maybe it'll break me up, but somehow I doubt it.
