Sony is set to release firmware update version 4.05 for the PSP -- now with music visualizers!
If you enjoy using your PSP as a music playing device, games be damned, then the latest PSP firmware update will be right up your alley.
Version 4.05, according to a post at the official PlayStation blog, will include new visualizers for music playback.
"We know that more and more of you are listening to music on your PSP, and this update will add new visualizers for music playback, among other features," said PlayStation Network director of operations Eric Lempel.
Lempel also promised "other features" would be included in 4.05, but did not elaborate any further.

PSP needs more AAA games.... I love the PSP but it has lackluster games compared to DS.

Big deal ... go buy a DS. I have a PSP that I bought for $60 and all I use it for is emulation.

Here's a feature for the PSP, have it transform into a robot and carve a Tombstone with the gravings stating "Here Lay Sony, unable to produce any shred of quality in the 7th generation console war"

Funny how everyone ignores God of War, and yet keep bitching that the PSP needs better games. That's an old argument.
