GamePro's August 2008 issue is incoming to subscribers and newsstands nationwide, and it contains a special 10-page preview of Resistance 2. GamePro senior editors Sid Shuman and Chris Morell went hands-on in Campaign, Cooperative, and Competetive multiplayer and share their experiences inside. Don't miss it!

UPDATE: Today, Sony and Insomniac Games unveiled the first boss from Resistance 2, and it's a doozy. The Leviathan is a 300-foot tall Chimera, capable of leveling buildings and aircraft with each swipe of its massive arms.

BIG FREAKIN' DEAL! SO WHAT IF RESISTANCE 2 HAS A SURPRISE? I'M A "GEARS OF WAR 2" KIND OF GUY, AND THAT'S THE ONLY GAME THAT REALLY MATTERS FOR THIS YEAR. RESISTANCE 2...UH-HUM!

I saw scans of that big beast on n4g.com. I'll say it again- badass. Now this is the game I've been waiting for. I might buy the PS3 for this, still up in the air.
