Microsoft promises more new games for E3

Despite unveiling several new titles this year, Microsoft says it will announce even more next month at E3.

"We have not announced all of our line-up yet for 2008 but will provide more details at E3 next month," said Aaron Greenberg, director of Xbox 360 product management, in an email sent to GamePro on Thursday.
Last month, Microsoft announced and confirmed several new games for release on Xbox 360 this fall, including Gears of War 2, Too Human, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Fable 2, and Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
In addition to the above five games, Greenberg named Infinite Undiscovery, Fallout 3, Madden NFL 2009, and the exclusive (though possibly delayed) Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content, when asked what gamers should be excited for this holiday.
"Xbox 360 will continue to be the home to blockbuster games and the most exclusives," Greenberg added. "By the end of the year we will have over 1,000 games available for Xbox 360, which will be 2-3 times more than any other platform."
Though I'm not sure if the known games are as good and plentiful as last year, Xbox 360 owners seemingly have a solid lineup, nonetheless.

XBOX is the best platform out now...I own a ps3 and a wii and yet the best of the best are for my 360

still a solid line-up of games this year, I think almost every year (this included) for any platform, pales to last years 360 line-up.

I haven't turned my Wii on since Christmas. I feel I have neglected the Wii, but it is all thanks to COD4 and GTAIV.

My 360 has been thrown into the abyss since I started playing MGS4. I play COD4 with co-workers upon request, that is about it. Otherwise, I don't even touch the power button on my 360. Anyone who owns a PS3 right now, and refuses to play MGS4 and is playing the 360 instead is a clown. MGS4 is the best game out.

I fall asleep while watching the 30 minute cut scenes in MGS4. There is no excuse for the long cut scenes.

KOTOR3 would pull me to the 360 at least for a while. I don't know which console it will release on, but it was one of my favorite XBOX games.
