Sony confirms new PlayStation 3 games for E3 event

A press placard delivered by Sony for the upcoming E3 event has confirmed two new PS3 games that will be shown in LA next month.

A press card provided by Sony Computer Entertainment America to videogaming247 Tuesday has confirmed a few new titles for next month's E3 event.

The press card also confirms that the short list will probably get much bigger, as the phrase "just to name a few..." graces the top of the card, teasing something more when attendees arrive in LA.

As you can see from the image, the two new PS3 games are Buzz!: Buzz! Master Quiz and Buzz! Quiz TV.

Previously confirmed PS3 titles on the list include:

  • Killzone 2 (PS3)
  • LittleBigPlanet (PS3)
  • MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (PS3)
  • PixelJunk Eden (PS3)
  • Resistance 2 (PS3)
  • SIREN: Blood Curse Episode #1 [PSN] (PS3)
  • SOCOM: Confrontation (PS3)

If you're a member of the press, and love PS3, the lounge looks like it could be quite the time.

Yes... Sony will announce PS3 and PSP games... Nintendo will announce Wii and DS games, and Microsoft will annouce Xbox360 games.

Any games we didn't know about though? We knew about these games eons ago.

we know about these game already and none are going to be any good AAA exclusive games except for resistance. socom isnt even going to be the true socom 4 so that doesnt count. little big planet is a casual game that all you sony sheep complain that the wii has to much of. killzone looks promising but who knows when thats coming out. MEH! it coulda been better or have games we didnt know about already!

I bet they end up showing a trailer for Gow 3. Now that would be awsome. Killzone 2 is looking very promising as well. Despite the best graphics to come the game play lookes fantastic. Good AI as well. It will deffenetly be a AAA game if it delivers.
