Ready? FIGHT (but only on Xbox 360)

Ready? FIGHT (but only on Xbox 360)

Looking to beta test Capcom's upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix? Great! Just make sure you have an Xbox 360, because the beta is only open to owners of that system.

To get access to the beta, you have to purchase a copy of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 from Xbox Live Arcade. Then, on June 25, Capcom will open the floodgates and grant you the enviable task of doing their bug testing for them.

The details of the beta's gameplay were already revealed by Capcom earlier this year. Players will get access to staple Street Fighter characters Ryu and Ken, who will fight it out on a single stage. The beta will then run for eight weeks.

Players can submit bugs and suggestions to the beta test site, found here.

I thought that beta was open to both systems if you bought Wolf of the battlefield? I already played the hell out of SF2 years ago, don't think I want this.

Wolf of the Battlefield pales in comparison to Commando and MERCS. I played it yesterday and didn't want to buy it because it felt dated and a little on the boring side. It also got very sub-par rankigs from metacritic. This just looks like another example of trying to sell a subpar game at the promise of being in a beta that sucks. At least Crackdown was a great game on its own and the Halo 3 beta was sub-par. This time its the other way around. 2 fighters? C'mon Capcom.

makes sense to do this. Doesn't matter though, in the end PS and 360 owners get the full final game.

I hated this game 10 years ago, I can't imagine me liking it now.[p] . . who cares?
