Source: Street Fighter IV on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (?!) this winter

Is Street Fighter IV coming to the PC too? One French site says it has uncovered leaked information that says yes, it is.

According to French gaming site Jeuxvideo, Capcom has accidentally announced the upcoming platforms for Street Fighter IV on a site reserved for the press.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the arcade game were always rumored to be a real possibility, but the news from late Friday added a surprising twist: SFIV will be heading to the PC sometime this winter alongside the two console versions of the game.

Public facing and press-only Capcom news sites currently have no confirmation of the rumor one way or another, so take it with a grain of salt.

That said, it would be wise to remember that Xbox 360 development often mirrors the PC (ahem, Gear and Halo for the PC) when weighing the validity of this news. A PC SFIV wouldn't be a complete surprise in this regard.

This would be an odd occurrence, but I'm sure that people who grew out of gaming right after SFII would like to load this up on their PC for nostalgia's sake. (If they can meet the system req's).

I don't think any dust will be on PS3s after MGS4 releases. I will probably get it for the PS3 because the controller is better for those type of games, just swap the medium and high punch and kick buttons and you're set on the PS3..

When it does come out, I will defintely get it for PS3 just because of controller preferrence to the SF games and/or any fighting game.

I do prefer the Playstation controller for games like SF that use the D-pad. I prefer the Xbox controller for analog controls.

greensabre, you are an idiot. The PS3 has the best quality games out of all 3 next gen consoles. I guess you missed that memo. The PS3 has the HIGHEST number of 80 percent plus games available on the system than any other next gen console. play it on the ps3 just because of the d-pad. the d-pad on the 360's controllers suck .
