BioShock confirmed for PlayStation 3

Rumor became fact today after the July issue of EGM confirmed BioShock was heading to the PlayStation 3.
I'm too much man for just one system
The inevitable happened today as EGM has confirmed that the award-winning FPS BioShock is heading to the PlayStation 3.
The July issue (arriving on June 3), apparently dishes on how the Xbox 360's former exclusive is making the transition to Sony's console.
At the top of the list of improvements are "graphical" enhancements, but nothing more substantial than that is mentioned. The mag gives BioShock for the PS3 a "2008 holiday season" release date.
Good on 2K Games for finally doing the obvious right thing, but is this too little too late? PS3 owners will be getting the original almost at the same time Xbox 360 owners are enjoying the sequel! I exaggerate, of course. Better late than never, right?

nice to hear this news, i have always wanted to play this. Does this mean PS3 and 360 will have a simultaneous launch for the sequel, or is it again gonna be a timed exclusive for MS?

Hot on the heels of Bioshcok for the PS3 will be HAZE for the 360! Alot of games that were 360 exclusives are showing up on the PS3 after awhile, Lost Planet, Overlord, Dead Rising( eventually) and now Bioshock. But do the PS3 fanboys want to play the 360 leftovers? I really don't think Bioshcok is going to sell a lot of games.

Good news for PS3 owners, I personally could care less about Bioshock but that is sort of a smack in the 360's face when they say it will be given graphical enhancements. Basically the delvelopers will be able to make it look exactly how they invisioned it with the power of the PS3

Hell yes! I heard from the same sources that reported this months ago say "improved graphics" over and over. This would be a great thing for PS3 owners, just as it was a great thing for 360 owners. In fact Bioshock was one the two [the other being Gears of War] reasons for me to buy a 360. If rumors are true Gears of War 3 should go multi-platform, as Microsoft exclusive contract only goes up to first sequal. Anyway, Bioshock looked great on the 360, hopefully it will look awsome on the PS3.

honestly this was and awesome exclusive game for xbox and now am happy that is comming to ps3.... now FLAMEEEEEEEE ONNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
