Sony taps Shunei Yoshido as Harrison's replacement

The bald-headed hole left by former SCEA front man Phil Harrison was filled today by Shuhei Yoshida.

Shuhei Yoshida

I am the new Phil Harrison... Grr!

Sony has named a successor to former Sony Computer Entertainment America head Phil Harrison, and his name is Shuhei Yoshida.

Yoshido sports a full head of dark, luscious hair and, as a senior vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment America, he will head the company's software development efforts for PS3 and PSP in the U.S.

Yoshida has been a member of the Sony team since 1986, and had a hand in the creation of the PlayStation brand back when Nintendo and Sony were bed buddies for a CD-ROM video game console project.

GamePro extends its congratulations, and is sure that Sony's software development group is in great hands!

Does that mean he had to sleep with the boss to get the job?

That's cool. I don't see how Yoshida can play a caucasian guy? Then again Samuel L. Jackson is playing Nick Fury.
