Square Enix launches Final Fantasy IV website

Fanboys only: At long last, Square Enix has quietly launched their North American website for the remake of Final Fantasy IV on Nintendo DS.

Right now, the site only shows a detailed piece of artwork -- Cecil, Rosa, Kain, and the rest of the cast looking over a beautiful, sprawling valley -- along with an orchestrated musical rendition from FFIV's endearing soundtrack.

The July 22 release of this DS title isn't far away, so it's not unreasonable to expect some timely site updates from Square Enix.

For now, fans of the series can still brave through the strange moon language of the Japanese website, which is full of trailers, screenshots, and more content from the import version.

And of course, there's always our FFIV gallery for the taking.

This is the most overrated, painful to play through, cheesy cut-scene, metrosexual series in the history of gaming. It needs to go away, . . . and take all other turn based games with it.
