Sony readies Echochrome for download on PS3, PSP

A playable demo for the creative puzzle perspective game will be available for download from the PlayStation Store on Thursday, the official PlayStation Blog announced today.

This content requires flash player 8. Go install the latest version now!

The impending demo will brief players on the basic premise of the game scheduled for release over the PlayStation Network in May for both PS3 and PSP.

For the uninitiated, Echochrome lets players manipulate the camera angle of isolated pathways when guiding a mannequin to level completion (see video). The final PS3 version will include 56 preset levels, in addition to uploadable user-generated levels, the best of which will be selected and shared with other Echochrome owners as downloadable content.

THE VERDICT by Blake Snow Blake Snow's Avatar I'm really looking forward to this game. It looks "neat!" Really, it does. I'm a sucker for puzzle games, and this looks like a fresh one. Here's hoping the overwhelming "whiteness" doesn't make my eyes bleed, however.
