Gears of War 2 in-game footage drops in May

Be the first on your block to see the Gears of War in-game footage when it hits the streets next month.
We're ready for more
We already know about the new features and Brumack fights coming soon to Gears of War 2, but today we learned something new: the first in-game footage of the game is coming next month.
Kotaku confirmed the news this morning, saying the footage would be delivered via GameTrailers TV on May 9 at 1 a.m.
Those viewers who can stay up to watch it will be treated to footage of protagonist Marcus Fenix in action. The clip will also include a special introduction by Epic Games designer Cliff Bleszinski, who may or may not be eaten by a Brumack.
We at GamePro can smell the ragged chainsaw gun-inflicted wounds already...

There is a rumor, N4G, that says Epic's UT3 looks better on the 360 than the PS3. I thought the PS3 UT3 looked great. GoW2 looks really good but I hope it has more of a story to it or clears up some missing story points: why was Marcus in jail and his relationship with Dominic Santiago. Make no doubt this game is going to sell and sell a few more 360's in the process.

The new engine looks HOT, just incredible.

gregdnr is right 360 sucks! RROD on me...I love the 360 but damn that damn thing is only 2 years old, and it gave me the RROD!

Why do I get the feeling that this game will get as much hype as Halo 3? Not saying it doesn't deserve it... but I hate getting 2-3 articles a day about the same game.
