In addition to the expected graphics upgrade, Homecoming promises an enhanced combat system replete with counter attacks, different weapons, hostile ogres, and fresh puzzles.

The story (the sixth in the series) follows Alex Shephard, a new protagonist to the franchise who ends up canvasing the streets of Silent Hill in search of his lost brother, the one that police have conveniently decided to neglect, presumably.

Silent Hill: Homecoming arrives on Xbox 360 and PS3 in September.

Konami should just work on fixing the MGO beta. There site is full of traffic damn.

Do you have to register for the metal gear online beta now or can you wait until they solve the problem?

Awesome, but what's more is that thankfully, and as expected, there will be no Wii version!!! Yeah!!!! The Wii just can't handle the demands of "next-gen" gaming, and when the Wii does get an otherwise 360/PS3 "exclusive," it comes at a steep price, as it is heavily watered-down--take the upcoming "Star Wars Force Unleashed" for example. I think I speak for many when I say, "Up yours Nintendo!"...you want the entire gaming world to take a substantial step backward to the year 2000....when there was no real online console gaming and HD was something almost taboo/elitist--WOW, and Nintendo still believes it---no HD? no XBL-quality online experience? no hard drive? no nothing, just a shitty, silly gimmick that will hopefully soon fail. Nintendo needs to look forward, not back. Please Nintendo, help revitalize my once blind devotion toward all things Nintendo. It's clear that you've forgotten those who helped make you what you are. The Wii is an abomination.
