Wii launch title and sleeper hit Elebits could be getting the sequel treatment according to one Cubed tipster.
Elebits is Ele-back for Wii
According to the April issue of Official Nintendo Magazine, a sequel to Wii launch title Elebits is in the works.
The magazine reveals that Konami are working on Elebits 2 and it is scheduled for release on Wii "later this year," according to a summary of the article over at Cubed.
For the uninformed and Wii-allergic, the original game allowed players to harness the power of the Elebits, a tiny race of electrically charged beings. Playing as Kai, you would search for Elebits using a Wiimote-controlled power gun. The game also featured a user generated content component that allowed players to design levels and send them to friends via the Nintendo Wi-Fi service.
