Halo 3 Legendary maps complete as Heroic goes free

Bungie on Tuesday unveiled the third and final Halo 3 map to be included in the Legendary Pack for release on April 15. The previously released Heroic Pack also became free today.

The final map, named Blackout, is a remake of Halo 2's Lockout. Bungie previously unveiled both Ghost Town and Avalanche, thus completing the second map pack trifecta.

The Legendary Map Pack arrives on April 15th for 800 points ($10) and should be free-of-charge in late July, assuming history repeats itself. As a friendly reminder, the Heroic Map Pack, which includes Standoff, Rat's Nest, and Foundry, is now available at the low, low price of $0, as promised.
