Call of Duty 4 named best selling game of 2007

Activision on Friday said combined sales of the multiplatform shooter totaled more than 7 million worldwide since its release last November.
"We're very excited about this achievement especially given so many competitive titles this year," said Will Kassoy, senior VP at Activision. "This ground-breaking game and franchise continue to establish new standards by which all other action games will be judged."
While Call of Duty 4 earned top multiplatform honors, Halo 3 finished as the best selling exclusive game with more than 4.8 million copies sold to Xbox 360 owners. Wii Play followed with 4.1 million copies.

Deserving game if I do say so myself. While the whole package is realistically impressive, I have to say that "Death From Above" was my favorite level. Bombing baddies from a plain never gets old.
