2K Games quiet on expected BioShock...prequel?

Publisher says "nothing to announce at all" amid a Czech-based rumor suggesting that a sequel is already in pre-production.
According to Hrej, a BioShock prequel is already in development and on target for a summer 2009 release. The unnamed source maintains that scripting and graphic design have already begun, though 2K Games responded to the rumor by saying they have "nothing to announce at all," in speaking to VideoGamer.
Though unconfirmed, a BioShock sequel is extremely likely given the game's high sales and critical acclaim, not to mention previous Take-Two statements voicing aspirations of a franchise.
