Ninja Gaiden DS arrives March 2008

Tecmo's stealthy action game within portable striking distance.

"You're aware that ninjas are better than pirates, right?"

Tecmo announced on Wednesday that Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword will ship for DS in March of 2008. The game exclusively uses stylus controls, similar to Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, while directing ninja master Ryu Hayabusa with on-screen gestures. Players itching for a ninja fix will hold the DS in book-like fashion like Hotel Dusk and Brain Age.

"Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword brings a new level of gaming action to the Nintendo DS," says Yoh Watanabe, Tecmo's Marketing Manager. "There's currently a demo available on the DS Download Station, and I urge everyone to try it out to know what I mean."
