"The release is still 'when it's done,' but you can expect more frequent media releases," said 3D Realms' George Broussard in speaking to Shack News. He reassured, "we have considerable work behind us."

Duke Nukem Forever was first announced for PC in 1997 as the sequel to Duke Nukem 3D, the second game in the series. The infamous first-person shooter has since been plagued with design and graphics engine changes spanning an incredible 11 years.

When asked if Forever would be coming to Xbox 360 in addition to PC, Broussard told Shack News, "I don't think we've stated that yet for the record but your observations are probably noted."
