MLB 08 swings onto PS3, PS2, and PSP this spring

Sony on Tuesday announced MLB 08 The Show for release next spring on all PlayStation systems.
"We are aiming for an even more lifelike representation and with the addition of depth of field, improved environment lighting, new cloth techniques and enhanced facial textures," says Chris Cutliff, director of production for the game.
"We are approaching photo realism," he adds. "When comparing MLB 07 to MLB 08, you will be extremely impressed with the overall graphical improvements."
The latest edition in the long-running MLB series promises improved career modes, character behavior, pitcher/batter strategy, animations, and "broadcast quality presentation."
Just last week, 2K Sports announced MLB 2K8 for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, and Wii.
