Sega Bass Fishing for Wii will support both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck while granting virtual fisherman the chance to catch one of four different types of cold-blooded vertebrates. The simulation game features 15 lakes, 20 lure types, and the ability to select the time-of-day and season of play for various fishing experiences.

Sega Bass Fishing was first released in 2001 for the Dreamcast and compatible with the Sega Fishing Controller. The game was well received by gamers despite being panned by critics for its simplistic gameplay.
