Gran Turismo 5 Prologue a free download, for now

Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed last week at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be released as a free download on the PlayStation Network this October.
GameSpot UK published the news last week, however, pricing for the game still appears muddy according to another statement.
"Yes, it will be free for download on the PSN, and we are thinking of charging---but doubt it. For now it is free," a Sony Europe representative told PSU on Saturday.
A Sony of America representative told GamePro on Tuesday, "Pricing for prologue has not been announced."
Prologue, a lead up title to the full release of Gran Turismo 5 in late 2008, is will feature 16-player online races, 50 cars, 5 tracks and support 1080p resolution. The appetizer game will also debut car damage to the series.
