Crysis coming to PC on November 16

Electronic Arts and Far Cry developer Crytek announced on Thursday that Crysis will launch on November 16 exclusively for PC. The game is recognized as one of the most anticipated first-person shooters of 2007 due to its high-definition graphics.

"Crytek is constantly striving to push the boundaries of both game design and technology, while maintaining quality at the highest bar," said the company's CEO in a statement.

"We're thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we're excited to bring them Crysis this year. It's going to be worth the wait," he added.

The game is said to feature an "unparalleled amount of freedom" according to the developer in addition to online multiplayer of up to 32 players. You can see GamePro's most recent preview of the game here.

THE VERDICT by Blake Snow Blake Snow's Avatar Crysis, not Call of Duty 4, was the best looking game at this year's E3. Granted, it was running on an $8,000 machine, so hopefully my $500 rig will be able to play it (but not without a sizable upgrade first).
