See, the PS2 really is the best

A sixteen-year-old British boy got a lot more than he was expecting after receiving his latest Ebay purchase. What was advertised as a PlayStation 2 with two games was actually a PlayStation 2 with $90,000 in cash stuffed inside the box, but without the two listed games.

The money, which was found on March 20, has been turned over to police who have been searching for its source. In June, a judge gave investigators three months to find the original owner, otherwise the money will be returned to the boy.

"Our economic crime unit is looking into the audit trail to establish where this money came from," the Norfolk Police said. "It is a live inquiry at the moment and I cannot say too much, but nobody has been arrested."

THE VERDICT by Blake Snow Blake Snow's Avatar Wow. Just wow. This is the coolest game-related news story to hit my news desk in a long time. Hopefully the kid gets to keep the filthy lucre. Hat tip for the scoop, Mike!
