An 800 point content package for Rainbow Six Vegas was actually meant to be free, according to Ubisoft, which will be making amends to any and all customers who may have mistakenly paid for the content.

Ask anybody -- especially a gamer, and they'll probably agree with the assertion that "free is good". Ask Ubisoft, and they'll be inclined to agree, only that a recent administrative error may have accidentally contradicted that.
The "Black Pack", which contained downloadable content for Rainbow Six Vegas, was originally meant to be released by Ubisoft on Xbox Live Marketplace as a free download, but was mistakenly attached with a mandatory fee of 800 Microsoft Points. After realizing the error, Ubisoft pulled the pack from the system and reintroduced it as free, as it was intended to be.
In a recent statement, Ubisoft apologized for the error and will work to fully reimburse all users that have paid for the content.
"All players who purchased the Black Pack will be reimbursed automatically within 8 to 10 weeks," the statement reads. "The Black Pack will be posted [as of] Saturday June 30th and will be free of charge."
The company also stated that, in appreciation for the Rainbow Six community, the content package known as the "Red Pack" will also be made free starting Friday, July 6th.
