The Entertainment Software Association has detailed the conference schedule for this year's E3 trade show, which will undergo its first year of overhaul as the "E3 Media and Business Summit" this July. Due to the show's newly narrowed focus, hour-long conferences will be granted to each of the major players in the industry, including third party publishers such as EA, Ubisoft, and Konami.
As usual per E3 tradition, Microsoft will be the first and only company to be given the floor on Tuesday, July 10th. The other two major console developers, Nintendo and Sony, will be giving their presentations on Wednesday, July 11th, followed by third party companies EA, Activision, Midway, and Konami. The rest of the third parties, namely Take Two Interactive, THQ, Ubisoft, Namco Bandai, and Disney Interactive, plan to go on stage on Thursday, July 12th.
The exact schedule for the press conferences is as follows:
Tuesday, July 10th
8:30 - 9:30pm - Microsoft Corporation
Wednesday, July 11th
9:00 - 10:00am - Nintendo
11:30am - 12:30pm - Sony
2:00 - 3:00pm - EA
3:15 - 4:15pm - Activision
4:30 - 5:30pm - Midway
5:45 - 6:45pm - Konami
Thursday July 12th
8:00 - 9:00am - Take Two Interactive
9:15 - 10:15am - THQ
10:30 - 11:30am - Ubisoft
1:00 - 2:00pm - Namco Bandai
3:30 - 4:30pm - Disney Interactive
All third party conferences will be held in the Starlight Ballroom in the Fairmont Hotel Platform, although the locations for the presentations of the "big three" have yet to be announced. The trade show itself will take place at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA from July 11th through the 13th.
