In an announcement released today, Nintendo of America has agreed to exhibit its wares at the first ever Entertainment for All Expo, to be held this year on October 18th through the 21st at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The company plans to anchor the increasing exhibitor pool, which already consists of an A-list of game companies from around the world.
"The E for All Expo supports Nintendo's mission to reach as many types of consumers as possible to expand the world of video games to new audiences," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "Our Wii and Nintendo DS systems are all about gaming for the masses, and the E for All Expo will give consumers a chance to try out the hottest new Nintendo video games."
E for All is a trade show currently being organized by IDG World Expo, and was created to address the demand for a gaming expo geared more towards the average consumer. The event's organizers are confident that its mid-October scheduling, which is just weeks before the start of the holiday shopping season, will help to increase fervent interest and demand across the whole of the gaming industry.
