EA: Mercs 2 no longer PS3-exclusive

Electronic Arts announced today that their Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and PS2.

In a press release dated today, EA confirmed earlier rumors that their upcoming action title Mercenaries 2: World in Flames would be available for the Xbox 360. Furthermore, the publishing giant also stated that Pandemic Studios, the game's development team, is currently working on versions for the PC and the PS2 as well.
"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames delivers the next evolution in explosive open world gameplay - regardless of the system you play it on," said Pandemic Studios CEO Andrew Goldman. "All four platforms are incredible gaming machines, and from the beginning we designed an experience that accentuates their individual strengths and delivers the interactive freedom and explosive action Mercenaries fans demand."
EA plans to simultaneously release all four versions in time for this coming holiday season.
