Epic Games, the development team behind the Unreal series and Gears of War, has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2007 Game Developer's Conference. Events include a series of panel sessions, demonstrations of Unreal Engine 3, and a pair of media briefings.
The highlight of Epic's GDC schedule will be the media briefings, which will be presented on both March 7th and March 8th at 2:00 PM. All members of the media in attendance at the conference will be able to witness technology demos and engage in Q&A sessions with key members of the development team.
Scattered throughout the rest of the conference will be a wide range of speaker sessions hosted by Epic developers. Topics include: "Cinematography Techniques for Game Development", "The Sound Design of Gears of War", "PC Gaming in an Age of Connected Consoles," and "Designing Gears of War: Iteration Wins."
And lastly, Epic will also be scheduling closed-door appointments throughout the conference to showcase the new features of Unreal Engine 3 to prospective licensees and other interested parties. The release remains tight-lipped about what those features may entail, but rest assured that GamePro will have that covered come March 7th.
