Burnout: Revenge
MotorStorm
The above Burnout crash is really hard to beat, with an amazing amount of on-screen destruction of multiple cars.
MotorStorm comes in a very close second in the above pair, again with awesome fire and physics.
Burnout: Revenge
MotorStorm
Burnout here shows its best example of physics and destructible vehicles, with three wheels falling off causing the car to smash down onto the ground.
The above MotorStorm crash shows evidence that this PS3 game can get out of control, with the truck vaulting right into a turn sign off of an insane jump. There's just no surviving that one.
Burnout: Revenge
MotorStorm
Burnout is best at getting you in the action, first-hand, and this takedown makes that known as a rival car explodes into the player's view.
With amazing PS3 graphics, the detail in MotorStorm is almost unparalleled. No movable part will remain on your vehicle at the end of the race!
Winner: Burnout: Revenge, but barely. Being that we've based this on the one-track demo version of MotorStorm, we're still calling this one a work-in-progress. But for now, Burnout remains crash king. The sense of speed in the Xbox 360 version is rivaled by none, and we're hoping the final version of MotorStorm will do the PS3 some much-needed justice.
Head on back this Friday for our review of the Japanese version (no online) of MotorStorm that just released overseas, as the US won't get in on the action until March.
