This week Apple unveiled the first batch of iPod games available for download in the iTunes Music Store. Judging by Apple's new advertising campaign, it looks like the leader of the portable music market is serious about branching into the games space.

And let's face it -- with an enormous base of iPod users and the world's largest online music/media store at its disposal, it all seems like a pretty good idea.
