Banjo and Kazooie are back on N64 in a new adventure with all-new challenges. Join Brother Buzz as he gives you some ProTips on this 3D platform-style action/adventure game that?s bigger and better than ever.
Check out these ProTips to help you master this game!
PROTIP: This time you can find the Ice Key as soon as you enter Spiral Mountain.
PROTIP: As you begin the game, Feathers in the Feather Nests cycle between red and gold colors. The red enable Kazooie to fly. The gold power up an invincibility move. Feathers and Eggs will change to even more colors as Sergeant Jamjars teaches you new skills.
PROTIP: Mumbo brings inanimate objects to life. He summons forth the Golden Goliath at the Mayahem Temple and revives the Train in Glitter Gulch, too. As the Goliath you can drop kick the dart-shooting stone heads, but more importantly you can gain access to other areas by bashing in the skull doors.
PROTIP: You can avoid the quicksand creature if you wade through the green areas and avoid the brown areas, but only the Golden Goliath can reach the Jiggy in this area of Jade Snake Grove.
PROTIP: In exchange for Glowbos, Humba Wumba transforms you into other characters. The first is a Stony bear at Mayahem Temple, which enables you to understand Stony talk. But you also transform into a Van, a Detonator, a Submarine, a baby T. Rex, a Daddy T. Rex, a Washing Machine, a Snowball, a Bee, and a Dragon. Each form completes special tasks.
PROTIP: Stony bear can enter the Mayan Kickball Stadium. Kick gold balls into your goal to score points. Kick red balls into your opponents? goals to subtract points. Kick black balls at your opponents to blow them up. Win the finals and you earn a gold Jiggy.
PROTIP: Stony Bear uncovers the code to free Dilberta the rodent from the Prison Compound, but there?s a stony problem inside, too. You need to learn the Bill Drill move from Jamjars in Glitter Gulch Mine, then return to the Prison Compound to open a route to the Prospector?s Hut.
PROTIP: Mumbo can?t recognize you as Stony or any other character that Humba Wumba transforms you into.
PROTIP: When you reach the Plateau in between Mayahem Temple and the entrance to Glitter Gulch Mine, visit Honey B?s Hive to exchange empty honeycombs you?ve found to add an additional honeycomb to your life meter.
PROTIP: Banjo and Kazooie split up in this game. Jamjars teaches them individual moves, so be sure to revisit the Sarge whenever you use a Split Pad.
