Final Fantasy III (Squaresoft/SNES)

Zombies Ate My Neighbors (Konami/Genesis, SNES)

This overlooked LucasArts-developed gem, Zombies pits you against an army of monsters that has invaded suburbia. The cartoony graphics give Zombies a humorous bent, and the game is filled with clever weapons, devious levels, subtle jabs at horror-movie cliches, and a 40-foot baby boss.
