This map is pretty huge and loaded with bounce pads and staircases making it fairly confusing and hard to control. The Quad and the Heavy Armor are grouped near each other in an open space courtyard; the value of these items will attract a flock of players. You can spring up into these courtyards from bounce pads in the dungeon area or you will find them nestled on the far side of the surface area. Three units of Armor grace this map, one across from the BFG10K, another right below the Lightning Gun, and the last one by the Mega Health. The Mega Health is on the other side of the surface area in the pit area. In a small section near the Mega Health pit you will find the personal Teleporter. Next to the Personal Teleporter there is a small hatch, drop down the hatch and you?ll be standing on top of the BFG10K. There are numerous methods to reach the all powerful BFG, you can maze your way through the dungeon itself, drop from the Personal Teleporter hatch, and drop from the Mega Health pit just air control to avoid the bounce pad. The Rocket Launcher is found on the far end of the Mega Health pit. Rocket ammo is abundant so you should make it your primary tool when you?re without The BFG10K. The Rail can be found deep in the maze, it is hard to explain its location but when you find it you will notice it?s in perfect BGF sniping territory. The Plasma Gun is located near the Heavy Armor, which is near the Quad so a Plasma Gun based Quad slaughter is not only applicable, it is almost welcome here. You?ll find the Lightning Gun near the main entrance to the maze. The Lightning Gun will garner mixed results here; some sections lend well to it while others are too cramped. Two Shotguns can be found here as well, one near the Lightning Gun at the entrance to the maze and the other in a small room near the Mega Health. Realistically your skill level and terrain awareness will determine how applicable the Shotgun is here.
Visor, Razor, Keel, and Stripe get wicked on you in the single player game here. The bots are going to flock around the Quad and Heavy Armor area and you?ll find packs of them seemingly lost in the maze. To beat down the bots your focal point should be securing the BFG10K; they try for it often but rarely succeed. Once you have it head to their hangouts and lay waste to the herd. Since they tend to duke it out around the Quad and Heavy Armor you may have trouble securing these, keep your focus on the BFG10K and its ammo above all else and you?ll pull the win easily.
This map is far too expansive and confusing for a one on one match, so you are going to primarily see FFA games here. Even with FFA games it is impossible to dominate every item on the map, there are just too many armor units, the Quad, the BFG10K, and the Mega health spread out well enough to control them all. Stay versatile in case someone beats you off your primary focus, but all in all dropping down to the BFG10K from the Personal Teleporter should be your main goal. Once you?ve secured the BFG10K get ready to get wild but stay weary of rail snipers camped across the map.
