Look for the only vitalit in this level on the top tube after defeating the boss
Objective: Defeat the boss.
The current in this room is weaker near the floor or close to the walls. There are air pockets across the floor and a school of yellow fish near the ceiling by one of the windows. Your objective here is to destroy the rotating machine in the middle of the room by throwing rocks at it.
You must use Ecco's sonar on the floating rocks to direct them towards the boss in the middle of the room. The tentacles around the room will grab the rocks and heal the boss. Your goal is to keep them from healing while you hurl rocks at the boss with your sonar. Once you see a tentacle grab a rock, swim towards it and use your sonar on it (it doesn't matter where you hit it). By doing this enough times and keeping the boss from being healed, eventually the tentacles will self destruct making your job easier. Don't bother trying to hurl rocks until most of the tentacles are gone. There are so many rocks flying around that they will hit the boss no matter what.
