The Terra Tower Bosses
Terra Tower is home to some of the most difficult bosses in Chrono Cross, and before exploring it, you should spend the money you've been earning throughout the game. Upgrade all weapons and armor and stock up on Trap Elements of all colors. If you haven't already discovered the powerful Double Tech or combos that some of your characters can unleash, you may want to do so before entering Terra Tower.
Terrator
HP: 2200
Element: Yellow
Spoils: YellowField (100%)
Gold: 1000
Terrator will start the battle with powerful Tech attacks and constantly use Capsules to heal. Keep an eye on the Field Effect and expect Terrator to strike with OmegaYellow when it's all yellow (which will reduce a character's HP to zero). While there is very little you can do to keep Terrator from using his Tech attacks, you can minimize the damage he can inflict on your party by casting Weaken and Diminish. Also, set a Trap Element for Earthquake and after that for Golem. Concentrate on using physical attacks only, and always have a Trap Element out there, which will reduce the damage Terrator can do to your party. As soon as you can, bring out Genie to finish Terrator off.
Pyrotor
HP: 2400
Element: Red
Spoils: RedField (100%)
Gold: 1000
Pyrotor also starts the battle with powerful Tech attacks and Tablets to heal. As soon as the Field Effect is all red, it will cast OmegaRed (which will reduce a character's HP to zero). It is a good idea to always have a Trap Element out there for Inferno and RedWolf to minimize damage to your party. Concentrate on using physical attacks and Double Tech Skills until you are able to bring out BlueWhale to finish Pyrotor off.
Anemator
HP: 2500
Element: Green
Spoils: GreenField (100%)
Gold: 1000
Unlike the first two bosses in Terra Tower, Anemator will not use Tech attacks, but will concentrate on casting damaging green Elements. As with the two previous bosses, always have a Trap Element out there for either Carnivore or Sonja to minimize damage to your party. If you trapped Earthquake from Terrator, this is the time to use it. Concentrate on using physical attacks and Double Tech Skills on Anemator, and as soon as possible bring out ThundaSnake to inflict major damage.
Gravitor
HP: 3000
Element: Black
Spoils: BlackhHole (100%)
Gold: 1100
Gravitor is another boss who won't use Tech attacks against your party. Instead, it will mainly concentrate on turning the Field Effect black so it can summon MotherShip. As with the other bosses in Terra Tower, always have a Trap Element out there to minimize damage to your party. While physical attacks and Double Tech Skills should be your main strategy, HolyLight and UltraNova will also be very effective against Gravitor.
Luxator
HP: 3000
Element: White
Spoils: UltraNova (100%)
Gold: 1100
Luxator is the toughest of the bosses in Terra Tower, and a good reason to have trapped those powerful Elements throughout the game. Just about any level six and above Element will damage him, except white Elements (which will heal him). Whenever Luxator casts Magnify, counter with Diminish to avoid sudden death. Double Tech Skills such as the ones done by Grobyc and Norris, or Guile and Sneff will definitely help here. Make sure you have traps for Unicorn, HolyLight, and UltraNova at all times to minimize damage to your party, and cast BlackHole and FreeFall whenever possible.
Aquator
HP: 2800
Element: Blue
Spoils: BlueField
Gold: 1000
Compared to the other bosses in Terra Tower, Aquator is a breeze to beat. Concentrate mainly on physical attacks or any level 6 or above Elemental attacks (except blue Elements). Set a Trap Element for FrogPrince to reduce damage to your party, and if you have a RedField, use it with Salamander to shorten the length of the fight.
