Enough about the system, what about the games?! Don't worry, there are plenty and we tried them all.

How Do They Look And Sound?
For the most part, the first batch of Game Boy Advance games looks quite sharp. Imagine if development on the SNES went for 2 to 3 more generations, and you will have an idea of what Game Boy Advance games look like. There are some games that appear to use 3D elements, and though it's hard to tell if they are "faked" using some advanced 3D sprite technology, it still was mighty pleasing to the eyes. Mario Kart Advance leads the pack with the GBA's version of Mode 7, making for a smooth driving experience. The sound in these first titles are not quite up to SNES standards, but expect that to change fairly soon. Other top titles were, Mega Man EXE (Capcom), and Pi-Bi no Bouken (a platformer by Hudson).
How Do They Play?
This is perhaps the X-factor in the new portable's arsenal. All the games had a solid feel and responsive controls that are far superior to those of the current Game Boy Color games. Mario Kart in particular had the same level of sensitivity as the SNES version, which requires you to adjust to the GBA version. All in all, a good experience, and a big step up from the good old Game Boy.
The Rest
We were only given a brief time to check out the games, so to be fair and give a good impression, we'll wait till we have some real extended play-time with the games tomorrow when the Spaceworld show officially kicks off. Stay tuned!
