The battles with the first five basic dragons are very similar on a tactical level. Remember that the dragons are all advanced innate, so if you use their innate Element on them YOU WILL HEAL THEM. And as with everything, this high is met with an equal low - if you hit them with their counter Element you will pound them hard. Bring plenty of healing Elements and Elements opposite to their innate and they will drop. Dragons are also apt to use a moderate mix of physical and Elemental attacks, so it is possible to achieve a pure field. If you do this and summon their innate opposite Elemental summon, you'll wipe them out.
