Don't let Miguel's civil engineer-like appearance fool you - he is without question your hardest fight so far. Miguel will pound you with some of the most venerable Elements in the game, focusing heavily on Lynx's vulnerable Element, White. If you pack a ton of healing Elements and stay focused on keeping your HP high you shouldn't have a problem until the end. Right as Miguel is about to go down, he always uses Meteor Shower followed by Holy Light. Naturally your party will be dead if you don't heal between them, so make sure to keep as many of your characters heavily stocked with Heal All and Recover All Elements. Once that final onslaught is complete, hit him with everything you have and it will be over.
