Garai is actually one of the harder boss battles in the game, even if you come completely prepared. Garai is very weak against Black innate characters, so consider having both Lynx and Harle on your team when you go in. Since Garai hits so hard, you will want to spread out your Revive and Recover All Elements as much as you can just in case one of your Black innate characters should fall. Keep focused and keep your HP high if you want to pull through with everyone alive - his attacks can kill a character in a single rush even if their HP is full. Also, Garai has only two Elements, Triple Cut and Will Break, so clearly he will be relying on physical attacks more than Elements. Use this to your advantage and try to get the field as Black as possible.
