The first thing you should do in this battle is cast MagNegate on your primary Black innate party member. Sage is highly vulnerable to Black Elements but others won't have much effect on him. Sage uses Elements in combos, first casting an innate changing Element followed by the Element that can do the most damage to the character's innate Element. This means his Elemental usage will hit home hard, so make sure whoever you use the MagNegate on also has a good stock of healing Elements. All in all, Sage shouldn't give you too much trouble. Expect a long fight, focus on Black Elements, and it will be easy.
