The 3rd is one of those iconic characters of anime, a staple in Japan for decades.
With an upcoming U.S. PlayStation 2 game (and a nostalgic history as the star

for gamers to catch up on Lupin?s 1970s-era TV hijinks. The show is like a cross
between Austin Powers and the Scooby Doo cartoons-a funky retro vibe with
outlandish mysteries and adventures. The episodes range from the hijacking of
a gold-filled 50-foot Jesus statue in Rio de Janeiro to a straight money heist

monster! The series is rated 13 and up, but some of the subject matter is a bit
risqu?-although far less so than any of the Austin Powers movies. A great gift
