Looking for the perfect 10 dollar present? How about GBA external mods, sound kits, or punk rock music?

gbaSKIN
Platinum,
Cobalt, Onyx, Flame...that's it. What if your idea of an attractive Game Boy
doesn't fall into one of those four colors? The gbaSKIN is a thin vinyl sticker
with a low-tack adhesive. It beautifies, it protects, it's easily removable...you
can even take it off, wash it, and reapply it without trouble. There are several
designs available for both the original GBA and the SP (Zen rock garden, lightning
bolts, bikini babes, hot-rod flames, even the original white Game Boy) for
just $5. If you don't like those, you can create your own custom skin for an
extra $2, which is what Miss Spell did. How cool is that? $5 | GBA MOD | gbamod.com
Pelican Sound Kit for the GBA SP
Why
didn?t Nintendo include a headphone jack on the GBA SP? And why, after creating
an adapter, didn?t Nintendo ship any to stores? The world may never know, but
that makes packages like Pelican?s Sound Kit a great gift idea. The tiny package
includes just what you need-a headphone adapter and a pair of bud earpieces
with a retractable cord for easy storage-and, thankfully, none of the extra
crap that some SP accessory kits force on you. Sounds good!

Nyko Power Switch Relocator
Sometimes
the best ideas are the simplest ones. Case in point: Anybody who uses his
or her PS2 as part of an entertainment system or has it on a small shelf
might have trouble reaching the power switch in the back. What to do? Get
Nyko?s plastic doohickey, snap it onto the side of your PS2, and use the
awesome power of levers (one of the seven basic machines!) to ?relocate? the
power switch to the front of the unit (on a temporary basis). You either
need this or you don?t, but for anyone suffering from Blocked Power Switch
Syndrome (BPSS), this is 10 bucks very well spent.

14 Year Old Girls - Zombies in Robots Out
You?ve
heard songs about love, society, cars, and various parts of the anatomy...but
where are the songs about video games (except, you know, ?Pac-Man Fever?)?
With songs entitled ?Castlevania Punk,? ?Rayden on Prom Night,? and ?1-800-255-3700? (if
you don?t get it, call it), 14 Year Old Girls are the real deal. What Zombies
In Robots Out lacks in length (most of the 16 songs last 90 seconds or
less) and polish (think lo-fi Devo synth-punk), it makes up for in sheer
street cred and gamer-geek flag-waving. The song ?Tomb Raider U.K. Pop?-with
lyrics like ?Tomb Raider / your poly count is bad / Tomb Raider / your
level design is awful?-is worth the low price of admission all by itself. Zombies
In Robots Out is strange, done on a low budget, and not for everyone-in
other words, true punk.
