#3. God of War III is Playable at E3

GamePro has a lot of wishes, high hopes and nervous hands waiting for God of War III. Between you and me, I would hope to high heaven that this one makes it to E3 in playable form. GP Features Editor Patrick Shaw gets a dangerous look in his eye whenever someone even mentions this franchise, which perfectly feeds his troubling need for violence and gore. Sony's already giving an official release date for the game at E3 2009, but we'd bet our interns' collective salaries that the game will be playable on the show floor. Yeah, that's right. PLAYABLE. Heck, we all saw it in action thanks to that leaked trailer from this year's Game Developers Conference, and Sony's surely not going to be passing up a chance to have one of the most crowded booths on the show floor.

#2: Gamers Get a Peek at the PSP 2

Sony's handheld gaming device may not be able to beat the DS in America, but Japan's love affair with the system means that something's going right. Heck, even that PSP Slim was better than the alternative. That's why PSP owners might be seeing some improvements to their stalwart system the rumored PSP Go! If rumors are to be believed, current PSP gamers might be screwed that Sony kisses that UMD drive goodbye, while new PSP buyers could be seeing a bunch of features ripped straight from the DSi and iPhone -- we're talking downloadable content, built-in cameras and the possibility of touch screens.

One feature we hope is true is that slide-out button dock (like the Sidekick's model). That would be snazzy. Besides, we still want to play some Dissidia Final Fantasy at E3, which would look slick on a new PSP.

#1. Metal Gear Solid 5 Steals the Show

Hey, after all those countdowns (and countdowns after countdowns), we'd better see an actual game. And while we're all very much in the dark on Kojima's next game, it looks as though we will be playing as Raiden in the next Metal Gear game after all.

Pikmin 3 would rock too.

And although I'm 99.99% sure it won't happen, news on the next Halo game (besides the epic ODST) would blow everything else out of the water for me.

thats the way the cookie crumbles, Crunch40. lol. i didnt see anything really 360ish for any websites about E3. Although everything right now is speculation. only thing i know of cuz its shoved down our throats is Halo: Old Dude Still Tryin. lol.

LMFAO @ halo fanboys!! Dudes halo died a looooooong time ago, this E3 is all aboout Modern Warfare 2 and Metal Gear Solid 5 , oh and dont forget Zelda its still an awesome game even though the Nintendo WII sucks mad donkey balls..... a new psp?!?!?! bah sounds like sony wants to get some more money so they can pay the big hole ps3 left them .... as far as halo goes pls dont crap all over the storyline

If I am playing as Raiden in the next Metal Gear you can forget it. Why can't we just except that Raiden is a side character. Metal Gear 2 was the worst of all of them. Why you ask? Because you play as Raiden the whole game! This is like going to see a Batman movie and the whole movie they are following around Aquaman. GAY!
