The ground game is where the action is but sometimes, you just have to stay on your feet and exchange blows.
Having an opponent looming over you is not good for your health, so do what you can to get him off of you.

Cover feature's up. It's the first link. I won't spill the beans on our review but I will say that the GamePro's have been playing this game non-stop since we got our hands on it.

Loved the game... the controls are deep..its not a simple arcade game.. wii lovers and yuppies don't have the time to take on the learning curve.

I liked the demo but trying to pull off submissions were damn near impossible. Once I get this I'm going to spend a good amount of time in the tutorial. This is one of the few games that I would love to master so that I can take the fight online and submit people before they know what hit them.

Were you playing on beginner? The AI hardly puts up a fight on beginner setting.. on higher settings the computer will defend and counter a lot more, and if you keep throwing punches they'll take you down and submit you with ease.

This is the kind of complex fighting game I've been waiting for. Me and my buds will be able to add another game to our party night game list. Fun with single player (after upping the difficulty), but Boss with a friend. Thanks for the demo, THQ. Would have never bought it otherwise. UFC games of late have been ok at best.
