#10: Placing the SOS Beacon
Now here's a tough one. With SOS beacon in hand, it's up to you to single-handedly place it on the outside of a meteor in zero gravity, all the while fighting off hordes of Necromorphs and keeping an eye on your air gauge. Okay, let's take this one step at a time. First off, there are four Gravity Tethers located in this puzzle that you have to destroy-two inside the ship, and two outside in the vacuum. You can use your Objective Tracer to locate the first two tethers, which you should go ahead and freeze using Stasis. Once they've slowed down, fire inside the tethers to blow them up, releasing the meteor from their pull. Now, dodging the swinging mechanics of the ship, leap onto the meteor, climb out into the vacuum, and locate the remaining two tethers. Once these are destroyed, all you have to do is place the SOS beacon on the outside of the meteor, but watch out for Lurkers! While the Lurkers are fast, you only need to blast off two of their tentacles to take them down, so aim carefully. Once the SOS beacon is in place, carefully make your way back into the ship, trace your steps back to the control platform and release the meteor, SOS beacon and all.
#9: The Hull Monster
So you've just risked your life placing the SOS beacon on a giant asteroid, only to find out that there's something blocking the beacon's exit. There's always something, huh? Proceed back to the asteroid cannon, where you'll find a 40-ton Necromorph clinging on to the side of your ship, flinging space-debris and asteroids at your ship! Use the asteroid cannon to take this beast down, aiming at the yellow sacs on each of its tentacles in order to sever them. Watch out for flying debris, as well, and try to shoot it out of the sky before it crashes into your hull-the Ishimura can only take so much! Once you've taken care of the beast, it will lifelessly float away into the cold depths of space. Peace at last... that is, of course, right before a friendly ship that heard your SOS beacon, the USM Valor, comes crashing directly into the side of the Ishimura! You just can't get a break, huh?
#8: Meet the Crew of the USM Valor!
Well, well... it looks like the USM Valor wasn't such a friendly ship after all. The ship, prepped for war, was filled to the brim with heavily armed troops, all who have now been infected by the quickly-spreading Necromorph. The Valor wave of Slashers are much quicker than regular Slashers, as their stasis suits have melded with the Necromorph symbiotes. Be sure to have your Stasis module recharged, as these suckers are fast-but universal Necromorph Extermination Guidelines work just as well on the Valor Slashers as they do on regular ones: if they don't have any legs, they can't chase you.
#7: Hammond Meets His End
The question of whether you can trust Hammond or not can be put to rest as you show up just in time to see him brutally slaughtered by an extra-tough, extra-quick Valor Brute. Treat this beast like you would any other Brute-use Stasis to slow him down, and hit him from behind with everything you've got. Your surroundings are a bit tight, so be sure to use the small space to your advantage, and remember, once you've found a spot on the Brute that seems to be hurting him, don't let up! Once you've taken down the monstrosity, get out of there as fast as you can-the ship's coming down around you, and you only have a matter of seconds. As soon as you get through the next vacuum, run across the exploding hull of the Valor in zero-G, and make sure to dodge any and all debris flying from the wrecked ship. Once you've made it back onboard the Ishimura, you should be safe.
#6: Taking a Break
For a good ten chapters we've been running for our lives, slaughtering Necromorphs, and leaping out of our skin at every turn. How about a friendly game of Zero-G Basketball, or a stop off at the Ishimura's shooting gallery? At the shooting gallery, you're treated to unlimited ammo and a simple target: shoot the red holograms, avoid the blue holograms. For each wave you blast your way through, you'll be treated to ammo, med-kits, and other useful items. Now, Zero-G Basketball... where do we begin. With four possible hoops to score in, the machine will launch a ball out of one of the hoops. Leap to the corresponding plate (lit up for your convenience), grab the basketball with your Kinesis module, and shoot it into the corresponding hoop. Sound easy enough? Yeah, let's see you say that three waves in...
#5: Just When You Thought it Was Safe...
It's round two as the Regenerative Slasher retuns! This battle is admittedly a bit more difficult than the first one, as a number of Valor Slashers also crawl out of the woodwork to try and take your head off. Make sure you have plenty of Stasis energy in order to take down these beasts, and aim for more than one at a time as Stasis can freeze multiple targets. While fighting off the Valor Slashers is definitely important, let's make the Regenerative Slasher a priority. Lure the Regenerator behind the shuttle, and proceed to blow his arms and legs off. Now, with time being of the essence, rush into the control room, and initiate the shuttle's thrusters, char-grilling the beast. Now all that's left is to get rid of the remaining Slashers, and wait for Dr. Kyne to show up.
#4: Protecting the Marker
Now that you've finally seen what all of the fuss is about, it's your job to get the Marker loaded onto the shuttle. Before you turn your attention to the Marker, watch out for several Slashers and three Leviathan-sized tentacles. Deal with the Slashers however you see fit, and use the old "shoot-the-glowing-sac" trick on the tentacles. Once the main threats are downed, use your Kinesis to move the Marker across the cargo bay to get it to the hangar, but watch out for Lurkers, Pregnants, and Slashers. Inspect the various lockers and glowing crates for supplies such as med kits and much-needed ammo. Now, to get the Marker onboard. Unstable as he may be, Dr. Kyne is your only hope; he'll pilot the shuttle directly into the hangar bay, where you'll initiate a zero-G, sequence and using your Kinesis, align the Marker directly beneath the shuttle. Watch out for Lurkers and Scorpion Slashers, though!
#3: Kendra's Betrayal
You're all set: the Marker's loaded onto the shuttle, and Dr. Kyne is more than willing to help you put an end to all of this once and for all by dropping the Marker back at the Colony. Well, before Kendra puts a bullet in his chest, that is. Turns out frightened little Kendra has been a covert government agent this entire time as she steals your shuttle, Marker and all. She goes on to explain that the Marker is in fact not a divine relic, but a man-made one based off of alien origins. This entire expedition was a government-manned experiment, and you were caught dead in the middle of it... but the Hive Mind is quite real, and still out there!
#2: Moving the Marker
You're almost there - you've re-claimed the Marker, Nicole is by your side; all you have to do is get this relic to its rightful pedestal, and this whole mess will be over with! Well, after you run a gauntlet of puzzles and vicious Necromorphs, that is. First off, use your Kinesis to pull a Loader towards you, then activate a control panel so that the shuttle will dump the Marker on the loader. With the Marker's path blocked by various bridges-not to mention a variety of Slashers and Lurkers crawling out of the woodworks-be sure to raise each bridge one at a time, then pull the Marker beneath it using Kinesis. Repeat this, fending off monsters from all directions, until you hit a dead end and the cargo bay goes into quarantine mode. The only tactic I can offer here is to run and gun; you'll face quite a few Slashers, Lurkers and Pregnants, but thankfully you have a wide array of debris laying around the cargo bay in case you run out of ammo. Once the quarantine has been lifted, grab the Marker, and continue towards the pedestal.
#1: The Hive Mind
And you thought the Leviathan was big! After easily dealing with the traitorous Kendra, the Hive Mind reveals itself in all of its monstrous glory. To take down this behemoth, be sure to memorize the timing with the Hive Mind's tentacle swings. The Hive Mind has five glowing cores around its mouth, all which need to be blown away. If you find yourself running low on ammo or health, try stomping the glowing crates around you for extra supplies. When the Hive Mind grabs you and dangles you in front of its mouth, don't fret-this is one of the best opportunities you're going to get for a clear shot at its glowing cores. I found the Pulse Rifle to be the most effective while trying to take the monstrosity down, but be sure to conserve ammo as well; blindfiring on this beast won't do you any good.
So you've taken down the Hive Mind, returned the Marker to its rightful pedestal, and fought off the Necromorph invasion. So, does Isaac ride off into the sun with Nicole, or is there a much darker, more twisted ending to this tale? What, did you think we were going to spoil everything for you? If you want to find out how Dead Space ends, then go grab a copy and play it! Trust me -- it's worth the night terrors.

Dead Space is hands-down one of the best horror games ever made.
not one of the best, "THE BEST", put it this way, silent hill, good but average, resident evil 5 great game, great graphics but that game stop being scary since RE4, is more like an action sci fi game now, on the other way DEAD SPACE is forcing u to unlearn the head shot, is trying to tell "THAT SHIT IS OLD" man this game has much more gore than the movie 300, any way, if u like it good, if u don't good to, i just hope everyone gets to experience this game..
