The Mobile BT is a standalone unit that connects to your phone via Blu-tooth and provides the same hands-free experience as an earpiece; you can also connect it to your PC or Mac and use it for VoIP calls. If you're a student who doesn't own an MP3 player, go out and buy one right now: being able to plug in some earbuds and listen to music can be a lifesaver in so many different ways. It helps pass the time on the bus or subway, it can keep you entertained during breaks in-between classes and it lets you shut out distracting noise when you're trying to study or read. We personally own two MP3 players: one with a massive hard-drive for storing our entire collection of music and a smaller flash-based player to take with us when we're out and about. And just when we were thinking about updating our flash-based player, Creative sent us the Mozaic and it hasn't left our hands since. It's a simple 2GB flash player that couldn't be simpler to use-just plug it in, drag and drop your music and you're good to go. It's got all the features that you'd expect in a Creative player-video playback, a nice screen, insane battery life (it claims to get 32 hours!), FM radio-but one of the best features is an external speaker that doesn't suck. We cranked it up to full volume and were surprised at how good it sounded, especially considering the small size of the unit; it is, by far, the best external speaker we've ever seen on an MP3 player. So if you're in the market for an affordable and portable MP3 player with tons of features, be sure to check out the Mozaic from Creative.
