Okay, this is the last stretch. Roughly half the main ghosts you encounter here are easy, but the other three are the toughest yet-and that doesn't include the mysterious power behind all the shenanigans.
At this point, the electricity is out and it seems the door to the basement is locked all of a sudden. You can put away the ghosts that have appeared, but they will just regenerate, so leave them alone for the most part except in rooms where you can't move without getting hit. Head toward the closet room next to the balcony to ?nd the wardrobe guy.

For such a fussy dresser, he isn't tough to put away. Simply give him some ?ashlight and vacuum away.
Turn on every clock in the room to wake up the three toy soldiers. Carefully suck away their wind-up keys. Without the keys, they can now be ?ashed and vacuumed. Try to maneuver in a way that keeps you out of the paths of the remaining soldiers as you are vacuuming. If you have trouble, try taking away keys from the first two soldiers and then let them go. They will take a little time to re-appear from their houses, so it's a good opportunity to go after the third soldier with a little less distraction.
After taking out the trio, look at the middle house. There's a platform in there that will take you to the roof of the mansion.
GHOST IN THE BOTTLE In the room with many vases, a fellow will challenge you to a little game of Freeze the Ghost. He'll pop out of the vases randomly, and you must freeze him before he goes back in. Do this six times, and you'll be able to vacuum him up.

Hey, little girl, why is your room upside-down? Sleeping facing the floor must have very relaxing properties, because there seems to be no way to rouse her from her slumber.
Nothing refreshes a mind like a nice shower, but since she can't go into the shower, Luigi will have to bring the shower to her. Make sure you have some water in your vacuum, and create your own version of a spring morning rain.
After a few sprinkles, you'll be able to simulate the bright morning sun with your ?ashlight and let her get back to her beauty sleep in your cozy vacuum. If she goes back to sleep, another quick spray will wake her back up. Her dolls will not be happy about her being awake and will come at you. Either avoid them or suck them in, but they will re-appear either way.
After the fight, leave the room and you'll hear a loud noise. Re-enter and the room has returned to normal. You can now retrieve the treasure chest. No key awaits you, so you can leave the sleeping miss be.

Make sure you put some heat in your vacuum and then start melting away the ice that is acting as this guy's shield. Watch out for the stalactites that fall from the ceiling.
He'll muster up a blast of ice that will travel through the ?oor and stop Luigi in his tracks. After melting the ice, you can vacuum him; if he gets loose, just melt some ice again. From here on, it will not take very long to melt his protection if he gets away from you.

Prepare yourself for a long battle. Each of the paintings features a different type of ghost, but nothing you haven't encountered before.
After taking down all the pretty ghosts he painted, you'll be able to tackle the artist himself. At this point, there is nothing else you need to do before ?ashing him and creating a spot in the vacuum for him.
Now you've done it! The FInal key for the last locked door in the Mansion! Mario is waiting!

All is not what it seems as you face down Mario's old nemesis, Bowser. This boss battle can be tricky as you have to position yourself where you can see all the action and not be obscured by columns. Bowser will throw three spiked balls at you. Pick up any of the three with your vacuum. When Bowser bends over and opens his mouth to attack, shoot a ball directly at his lower jaw. This is the only way to damage him.
Bowser's next attack will be his very own version of Luigi's vacuum-except this one will cause a large amount of damage and a short trip to Bowser's stomach. Once he begins this attack, you can't hit him with the spiked ball should you still have one ready to fire.
If you had successfully hit Bowser with the ball, his head will fly off and the real power behind the hauntings will fly out dazed. Vacuum him while avoiding the ?oating Bowser head.
After getting hit a few times, Bowser will start to unintentionally re-attach his head upside down, which causes him to go into a fit and stomp around blindly. This will eliminate most of the columns you use for cover, but you can alter that by trying to keep him of one side of the roof. The key to the battle is mastering the right time to fire off the spiked ball and positioning yourself to get a good angle to aim. Defeating this duo will rid Luigi's Mansion of all the funny business and free Mario to get ready for his other GameCube endeavors, like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Sunshine.
